A New York native and graduate of Temple University and Salus University (formerly known as Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Kinshasa Coghill is an expert Vision Rehabilitation Professional, working as both Certified Low Vision and Vision Rehabilitation Therapist for  the past 14 years.

In addition, she is a Toastmaster International Member for the past 4 years. Recently elected as the VP Education 2016-2017 for Jade Toastmasters Club.

So what is low vision?  Low vision is an impairment which cannot be corrected with glasses, contact lens or medical/surgical treatment.

Some causes of low vision are cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and/or complication of diabetes. Such causes of low vision can happen at any age and can alter how you see.
